More than 1,000 local governments across the Global South are part of our network. To celebrate this milestone, we launched our very own sticker album.

Since 2014, we have worked alongside local governments across the Global South to strengthen public management through peer learning, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Twelve years later, we have reached a milestone that marks a new chapter: more than 1,000 local governments are now part of our community.

To celebrate, we launched The 1,000 RIL Stickers 2026: a tribute to the people and governments that made this growth possible.

What is the RIL Sticker Album?

Inspired by the excitement of the World Cup, our album features more than 1,000 local governments as RIL's National Teams: a community of local governments committed to transforming their territories, sharing what they have learned, and working together so that public innovation can go further.

Each sticker is a symbolic badge of belonging. It is not a ranking or a competition. It is a recognition of those who embraced innovation, actively contributed to the community, and demonstrated that public management is stronger when it is built as a team.

RIL's National Teams

The album includes 27 categories recognizing different profiles and journeys within the network:

Country Teams, featuring the most active members from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Uruguay. Thematic Teams, bringing together leaders from key areas of local government, including education, health, digital transformation, mobility, environment, economic development, public safety, public services, and more. Institutional Recognitions, highlighting certified local governments, governments awarded RIL quality seals, and members of RIL's Center for Innovation and Applied Intelligence (CIIAR). Special Categories, including the 2025 Innovative Mayors, RIL Ambassadors, and pioneers in the use of artificial intelligence in public management.
