We’re excited to introduce govtechconnect.org, the new online hub for the regional program coordinated by Red de Innovación Local, with support from IDB Lab, to connect local governments and startups in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay.

On the website, you can learn about the program’s three components:

🔹 CIIAR, the Coalitions of Cities for Responsible Artificial Intelligence, which strengthen local governments’ capacities to adopt AI.

🔹 GovTech Scale, which supports startups in developing their business models with the public sector.

🔹 Open Source and DPI, which promotes open digital solutions for public administration.

You’ll also find our progress from the program’s first year: 58 cities in the CIIAR coalition, 29 startups implementing pilots in cities, and 51 pilots underway. We’ll also be sharing updates from each country, including the launch of GovTech Scale training in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay.

The website is available in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, so the entire regional ecosystem can follow the program’s progress.
