This week, we took a major step forward for our network: we officially launched our operations in Peru, welcoming a new country into the community of local governments and public leaders driving innovation across the region.
The launch of RIL Peru marks a new chapter in our mission to connect cities, share management experiences, support improvements in public policies, and bring innovative solutions to the challenges facing cities across Latin America.
We would like to thank the members of the RIL Peru Advisory Council for joining us in this endeavor: Veronica Zavala Lombardi, Jorge E. Arrunategui, Paola Bustamante Suárez, Felipe Valencia-Dongo Q., Mario Huapaya, Yahir Delzo, Mariana Alegre Escorza, Angela Bravo, Angela Dionisio, Edgardo Cruzado, Elaine Ford, Melissa Donet, and Juan Felipe Celia. Representing the private sector, civil society, academia, and organizations with extensive experience in territorial development, innovation, and public policy, they will help guide the growth of the network in Peru by providing strategic vision, expertise, and connections with key actors across the ecosystem.
This new chapter also begins with the support of strategic partners who are joining RIL in this exciting challenge. Our thanks to Vélez Reyes+ and Instituto Bicentenario for sharing our enthusiasm and commitment to this new beginning.
With this launch, Peru joins Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and Colombia, further strengthening a Latin American network that promotes peer learning, collaboration, and the collective development of better public policies.
