The C40 World Mayors Summit brings together in this edition in the City of Buenos Aires mayors from global and regional cities, business leaders, philanthropists, activists, young leaders and scientists to share bold ideas, showcase innovative solutions and come together to create a future sustainable, prosperous and equitable.

Within the framework of C40, we were part of the "Global and Smart Cities Talk" panel organized by Paradiplomacia.org.

Delfina Irazusta, our Executive Director, spoke about how cities can develop public policies based on data and evidence.

Jolie Guzmán, Editor in Chief, Editora TIP spoke about the importance of developing public policies with a focus on people.

Rodrigo Perpétuo, Secretary General of ICLEI South America addressed the theme of "Sustainable and Sustainable Development".

Agustín Suárez, Undersecretary of Smart City of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires explained that the smart city is that city that understands people and uses technology to improve their lives and recounted the experience of #Boti.

Paola Arjona from Phare - Global Territories spoke about Global Cities and explained that the term glocalization is the action of bringing the global world to the local.
